Things have changed...

So I'm down about 87 pounds and I have to say I feel absolutely amazing. My life has gone through a major transformation the past year. My marriage failed and I thought my life was over. However one day, after days and days of being miserable, I decided I had to change. I did a major mental overhaul and I have never been happier nor have I ever felt better. I chose life, I chose happiness, I chose positivity!! Despite the imense pain I endured with my divorce, I think if not for that traumatic event, I wouldn't have made the changes I have made and I wouldn't be the awesome person I am today. It still hurts, but I got so much more out of it than I lost. To anyone reading, choose happy. Just do it. It's such a waste of time not to.

On a fitness note, I have taken up running...and I have to say, it's addictive and ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! I LOVE it!!!

When you are working on improving your shape nutrition is one of the key success factors. Most nutrients are received from food, though, as I have found out recently, nutritional supplements sometimes are more than necessary. This resource provides a lot of useful information on training, nutrition, supplements and other important things for athletes. I have followed some of their advices about pre-workout meals and proper recovery and my workouts increadibly improved! I see positive results in my endurance and strength. Now I am capable of visiting much more fitness classes than I used to.
